Join the New Dungeness Lighthouse Association
Why join the Lighthouse Association? First and foremost, your memberships help keep the lighthouse alive and staffed with volunteer keepers, 365 days a year.
Secondly, joining makes you eligible to reserve a week as a keeper. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience for most of our Keepers who often make repeat visits.
Annual Dues per Individual are $35 or $50 per household (household includes all family members living at the same physical address). There are now additional membership levels available for those who wish to donate in excess of the basic amounts. Download the Membership Application for details. Keeper scheduling information will be sent with your membership acknowledgment.
Membership Benefits Include:
Receive the quarterly newsletter "The Foghorn".
Membership makes you eligible to become a Keeper.
You are also eligible to volunteer for work-"parties" that provide the maintenance and upkeep of the station!
You could become one of our valued drivers and transport Keepers or workers to and from the station.
Dues and regulations are subject to change.
All costs of preservation, maintenance and renovation of the Lighthouse, Keeper's Quarters and outbuildings are entirely the responsibility of the New Dungeness Light Station Association. Donations, dues and Keeper fees cover these costs.
All persons (adults and children) staying at the Light Station for a tour of duty are required to view an Orientation & Safety video, sign a release and pay a Keepers fee set yearly by the Board of Directors. See the Keepers page for current fees. A tour of duty at the Light Station during each year of membership is not guaranteed.
